Sebastian Vettel denies his pole was due to a personal resurgence at Suzuka

After Sebastian Vettel's excellent lap during qualifying of the Japanese Grand Prix on Sunday, the four-time world champion has denied that this was due to a personal breakthrough and believes it was just because he had a "clean session".

Charles Leclerc has been tipped by journalists and even fellow Formula 1 drivers as the number one driver at Ferrari due to his recent performances in qualifying, and even on the raceday.

However, in qualifying for the race at Suzuka, it was all about Vettel, with the Ferrari driver producing two brilliant laps to start on pole for the race in Japan.
