Things are not running smoothly at Red Bull Racing at the moment. The RB21 appears to be a challenging car to handle, and it seems that only Max Verstappen can consistently score points with it. Ralf Schumacher questions Christian Horner's competence.
The Austrian Grand Prix once again highlighted the situation at Red Bull Racing. When Max Verstappen drops out of the race, the team scores no points. It's incredibly difficult for the Dutchman's teammates to achieve a good result with the RB21. This has been seen this year with Liam Lawson, and now also with Yuki Tsunoda.

Schumacher points out a problem at Red Bull that prevents the team from progressing

Ralf Schumacher mentioned in the Boxengasse podcast that this is a phenomenon that has occurred before. “I would say that Red Bull, like many other successful teams - Mercedes was the prime example - is now going to have a hard time. From my point of view, from the outside, there's no harmony. I think everybody is aware of it, and you see it every weekend.”
The German predicted major changes within the Austrian team, especially at the top of the team. “So I think a major reorganization is coming. Personally, I know Christian Horner wouldn't like me for it, but I also don't believe he's still the right man to lead Red Bull into a new future.”
Schumacher then pointed out the weak points of the British team leader. “I think he has shown that his decisions probably led to the situation we're in now. I wouldn't call it a problem, but he struggles to recruit people for the team and to keep motivation high. That's something I'm curious about.”

Christian Horner is, along with Toto Wolff, the longest-serving team principal in Formula 1. Horner's position, in particular, is increasingly being questioned due to disappointing performances. Within Verstappen's camp, patience may also be running thin. GPblog understands that a departure of the Dutchman from Red Bull could be a possibility if the power of the team boss is not reduced.
