Whilst Ralf Schumacher believes that McLaren should run away with the title, he does not entirely rule out Red Bull and Max Verstappen.
For the former F1 driver, Red Bull's Miami Grand Prix was not the best, but also not the worst, though.
"It was better than expected, though. On the bright side, [Yuki] Tsunoda did quite well. His race pace was not at all bad compared to Max's. That's important for him because it's not easy."
As for Red Bull's planned updates for Imola, Schumacher doesn't hold his expect much, at least not enough to bring Red Bull back into the championship fight.
"The team hopes it gets better in Imola. I can't imagine those updates will be enough for this year. It would be super fun if they manage a comeback and it would make the championship exciting."

Schumacher does not rule out a comeback from Verstappen

Schumacher then points to the uninspired winter the Austrian's had, for one. "I think they didn't do well enough over the winter and I miss the magic a bit. Also, it has to do with the steps the team takes, because not much has changed."
"There were circuits where the car performed better, with Max Verstappen, who gets everything out of it because of his skill. But that's about it. The car wasn't good enough so far, except in Japan."
"I don't think it's going to work [for Verstappen to become champion]. I might be wrong, but I've rarely seen a team bounce back in a year while having such a problem."

But all is not lost for Red Bull, and Verstappen Schumacher notes

Whilst Verstappen did suffer a major blow to his championship hopes in Miami, failing to score in the Sprint race and then being soundly beaten by both McLarens by almost 40 seconds, leaving the gap in the drivers' standings to number 1 Oscar Piastri at 34, points, for Schumacher there may yet be room for amazing the Verstappen-Lambiase pair to take the title.
"It will be interesting to see what happens. McLaren has already made some mistakes. And Max Verstappen is smart and also works well with his race engineer. It's amazing what they sometimes can achieve, but under normal circumstances, a McLaren should run away with [the title]."
