Logan Sargeant is set to make his return to racing. The American will drive in the IMSA championship's remaining rounds.
Logan Sargeant joined Williams in the 2023, being promoted from Formula 2. The American scored a single point in his career in the 2023 season, as he finished 10th at the US Grand Prix after Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc were disqualified.
He continued with James Vowles' team in 2024, but was replaced with Franco Colapinto following the Dutch Grand Prix.
Since then, the driver from Florida is yet to compete in any series. He was set to drive the LMP2 team of IDEC Sport in the 2025 European Le Mans Series. However, he withdrew and was replaced with Spanish driver Daniel Juncadella.

Sargeant set for new challenge

After a day ago, it was announced that Sargeant signed with Oliver Gavin Motorsport Management, now a new challenge is also on the cards for him.
The American is set to drive the #52 PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports car in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, which competes in the LMP2 class.
He will team up with Naveen Rao and Benjamin Pedersen for the final two races of the season at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and then at Road Atlanta.
About this next step, Sargeant said: "I’m super excited to be jumping back into a car for the last two LMP2 races in IMSA with PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports. It’s a great opportunity to drive at two special tracks, Indianapolis and Road Atlanta, and help push for good results with my teammates Ben and Naveen."
