Carlos Sainz will come out in Spain for the first time in front of his home crowd in a car that can win the race. The Spaniard is still waiting for his first win in F1 and this weekend he wants to pull out all the stops to achieve this dream.

Sainz ready for first win

Charles Leclerc seems to be a size too big for Sainz this season, besides that it is Max Verstappen who may or may not be even stronger than the Monegasque. Still, Sainz hopes to take victory with his Ferrari in front of his home crowd in Barcelona. Since the circuit has many technical corners, it should be possible with the F1-75.
Sainz said to the press at the FIA press conference, "It would be great to finish on the podium, but I want my first win. We are ready for it. There is a huge crowd coming to the circuit and the popularity of Formula 1 is growing everywhere." Secondly, what works in Ferrari's favor is that the team has brought a new floor that should fix the porpoising problem. With that, they could make up time on Red Bull Racing.
