For the second time this weekend, George Russell has received a penalty from the stewards. In FP3, the Briton was once again found guilty.
On Friday, the Mercedes driver received a warning by the stewards for an escape road infringement in FP2.
Today, he was fined twice for speeding in the pit lane. The allowed limit in the pit lane is at 80 kph, however, he exceeded that by 0.1 kph the first time, then by 0.2 kph during the second occasion.
These fines will not bankrupt the Mercedes driver, as he has to pay €200 in total for these two incidents.
This is also not the first time a driver got a similar penalty, as Piastri received the exact same verdict on Friday. The Australian was 0.3 kph faster than what is allowed.
