Russell launches firm message to Mercedes despite latest market rumors

We are now deep into the week leading up to the British Grand Prix, the home race for George Russell as well as Lando Norris and several other drivers on the grid.

Russell, car number 63, is one of the hottest names in the driver market, with the Englishman yet to renew his contract with Mercedes and Max Verstappen still firmly on Toto Wolff’s radar.

The Englishman, who secured a brilliant victory in Canada just two weeks ago, admitted he doesn’t pay much attention to the news and isn’t particularly worried about the rumours circulating in recent days.

Attending the press conference ahead of his home Grand Prix at Silverstone, Russell also reaffirmed his unconditional loyalty to Mercedes and his intention to continue with the team next year.
