Romain Grosjean has revealed he and his family are safe after his family home in Switzerland was targeted by burglars on Monday whilst he was asleep.
On Instagram, the Haas driver revealed that the burglars ran away after he confronted them in his corridor but that his family are safe. Grosjean had just returned from the Canadian Grand Prix.
On Instagram, he wrote: "One of those days. Two guys broke into our house last night...
"Luckily they ran away when I went into the corridor. Not the best feeling over, but we are all safe."
Grosjean had another disappointing race at the weekend after he finished 14th at the Canadian Grand Prix. He is currently 17th in the Drivers' Championship with only two points.
