Daniel Ricciardo will be breathing a sight of relief after Renault confirmed his power unit is in fact ok. In a statement released on the team's Twitter account, Renault said that Ricciardo's power unit would be suitable to use in Singapore and his retirement was in fact caused by a clutch issue.
