On Saturday Tsunoda experienced such poor grip levels the likes of which he claimed to have never experienced before in Formula One.

Red Bull Racing took responsibility for the issues, acknowledging a mistake with his tyre pressures had been made, which him lap as the second slowest around the wet Las Vegas street circuit, with Lewis Hamilton down in P20.

For the race in Las Vegas, Red Bull have decided to fit a new power unit in Tsunoda's car and make changes to the rear wing assembly. This is a breach of Parc Fermé regulations, and as such the Japanese driver will be required to start the race from the pit lane.
