"Unfortunately my time at Racing Bulls has come to a premature end.
"However, this does mean for the first time in 10 years I get to watch the remainder of the season as a regular punter, let's see how the midfield battle plays out! (And we will see how much I can figure out without all the tools!)," Roberts announced.
He explained that after a period of gardening leave, he will return next year to the F1 paddock. Roberts also put a green heart emoji in that sentence.
"I will be back trackside next year đź’š, but first I need to fit in some gardening.
"Thanks to all my friends, and good luck!" he concluded.

Red Bull family loses long-standing employee

Roberts spent a decade with the Red Bull family before announcing his departure.
After finishing his PhD, he began working for Red Bull Racing in 2016, first as a Race Strategy Analyst. In 2022, he was promoted to Senior Race Strategy Analyst.
In 2024, he joined Red Bull's sister team, Racing Bulls, where he began working as a Senior Strategy Engineer. From the third race of that season, he was responsible for strategy on the pit wall.

Racing Bulls currently sixth in constructors'

After Liam Lawson secured his best Grand Prix result and Isack Hadjar also collected a point in Azerbaijan, Racing Bulls is currently sixth in the constructors' standings.
The Faenza-based team has 72 points, having a 10-point advantage over Aston Martin with seven weekends left in the 2025 season.
