Red Bull has been successful as a brand in numerous sports and is now going to expand that empire even further. The brand behind Max Verstappen's success (and previously Sebastian Vettel) are now also getting into cycling. What other sports and athletes are Red Bull investing in?
Red Bull have had their own Formula 1 team since 2005 and have been very successful. Red Bull Racing have already won six constructors' world titles and seven world titles with drivers Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen.

Which sports athletes and teams do Red Bull sponsor?

Red Bull are also in football as a sponsor of RB Leipzig (Germany), Red Bull Salzburg (Austria), New York Red Bulls (USA) and Red Bull Bragantino (Brazil). Besides football teams, Red Bull also have several other teams: G2 Esports (esports team), EHC Red Bull Munich (ice hockey), T1 (esports), Team Heretics (esports), Red Bull KTM Factory Racing (MotoGP), Red Bull Skydive Team (Skydiving) and Cloud9 (esports).
Yet Red Bull are best known for sponsoring great athletes in various disciplines. Around the world, Red Bull sponsors more than 800 athletes.

Besides Max Verstappen, 15 other Dutch stars are on the Red Bull athletes list. Marc Márquez is another big name in the motorsport world. Other big sporting names include Ben Stokes (Cricket), Jack Nowell (Rugby Union), Trent Alexander-Arnold (Football), Molly Carlson (Cliff Diving), Kriss Kyle (BMX), Tom Pidcock (Cycling), Eleen Gu (Skiing) and Kai Lenny (Surfing).
A new sport will be added in 2024. Red Bull acquired 51 per cent of the shares of cycling team Bora-Hansgrohe at the end of December. The takeover is not yet official, as objections can still be filed with the German competition authority until 26 January.
