Both Red Bull Racing's Pierre Gasly and Alfa Romeo driver Antonio Giovinazzi have been summoned to the stewards after qualifying, with both drivers facing potential penalties for impeding other drivers during hot laps in Monaco.
Gasly qualified in fifth place for the Bulls, and Giovinazzi in 15th for Alfa Romeo, both drivers getting beaten again by their respective teammates as has been the case all season.
Romain Grosjean put the censoring machine to work after his Q2 exit, blaming Gasly for slowing his flying lap down dramatically. In Giovinazzi's case it was Renault driver Nico Hülkenberg who he impeded. Both Grosjean and Hülkenberg didn't make it to Q3, despite their teammates both going through.
Giovinazzi will be summoned first, followed by Gasly. Could a grid penalty come out of this?
