Oscar Piastri made a bet that if he won the Miami Grand Prix, he would hit the 'griddy' dance. During the post-race press conference on Sunday, the Australian driver admitted that the execution of the 'griddy' was far from the best. He confessed that he had not practised the dance after qualifying, as he did not expect to win. Justin Jefferson is now inviting Piastri for a real Griddy course. The Griddy has become a world-famous dance, largely thanks to American football player Justin Jefferson. The NFL player often performs the dance when points are scored. Piastri revealed after the Miami Grand Prix that he had made a bet with Jefferson: if he won, he had to do the griddy. The American football player reacted to Piastri's mediocre execution on Instagram.

"We gone work on it for the next race, Ima get my boy right" Jefferson responded, followed by two laughing emojis. At the post-race press conference, the
McLaren driver himself said that the execution in Miami was far from flawless.
"That was my first attempt at a Griddy, live on world TV. I stayed true to the bet, but that's the one and only time you'll be seeing me do that.”
