Oscar Piastri found the wall in qualifying, bringing the total number oif red flags during the session up to six overall.

Piastri coming up through Turn 3, took too much speed on entry, which launched him into the barriers.
The Aussie driver's McLaren hit the barriers forcefully destroying the whole front of his car.
This has great implications in the title fight Piastri and teammate Lando Norris are locked in, as the gap in the Aussie's favor is only of 31 points.

6 red flags in qualifying: A record in F1

Following the crashes of Alexander Albon, Nico Hulkenberg and Franco Coalpinto in Q1, Oliver Bearman added another red flag in Q2.
Charles Leclerc brought out the fifth with a hard crash at Turn 15 and Piastri prompted the sixth with 3:53 minutes left to go on the clock.
