A friend of Max Verstappen is a friend of the Orange Legion. Sergio Perez has noticed that after his excellent defense against the attacks of Lewis Hamilton, through which he played an important role in winning the world title of his teammate. He therefore says he is looking forward to the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort.
"I'm looking forward to the Dutch Grand Prix," says the Mexican at NOS with a broad smile on his face. "There's obviously a lot of support for Max, but for me as well." He indicates that he has seen many nice messages from Dutch fans.

Perez happy with support from Dutch fans

He could also appreciate a certain video that was massively shared after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. In it, apologies are made on behalf of the Netherlands to Mexico because of the controversial penalty during the eighth final of the 2014 World Cup.
That video was in good spirits in Mexico, according to Perez. "That was nice for our country," concludes the Red Bull Racing driver, who finished the final morning of the winter test in Bahrain as the fastest. Teammate Verstappen is currently on the road in the afternoon session.
