After two rounds, the Austrians made another change, swapping out Lawson for
Yuki Tsunoda. For 2026, Isack Hadjar will be elevated to the senior team.
Speaking on the Cracks Podcast, 'Checo' explained the conversation he had with now former team principal Horner when he was informed of the decision.
"I asked him, 'What are you going to do when it doesn’t work out with Liam (Lawson)?’
"He replied, 'Well, there's Yuki (Tsunoda).'
"I then asked, 'What are you going to do when it doesn't work out with Yuki?'
"He said, 'We don’t have many drivers.'
"I told him, 'Well, you're going to use them all,' and he said, 'Yes, I know.'"

The Mexican driver also shared that at the start, he was told by Horner that they are only running two cars because they had to.
According to 'Checo', at the Austrian team,
everything was a problem. He said:
