Sergio Perez has finally secured fifth place for Red Bull Racing. The Mexican was stuck behind Daniel Ricciardo for a long time after a mediocre qualifying. The Mexican was therefore not satisfied after the race.
At the end of the race, Perez finally managed to get past Ricciardo, but by then it was already too late. The Mexican ended up in fifth place, well behind Charles Leclerc and even further away from the fight in the top three. Max Verstappen was not happy with his teammate.

Perez falls short

Perez himself is also not satisfied with his own race. "It was a bit too late. It was very difficult to pass him (Daniel Ricciardo). I had a difficult first stint and couldn't really push. I was stuck behind Daniel and got a lot of damage to my tyres as a result,'' said the Red Bull driver.
On Saturday Perez came up with the excuse that he was not fully fit and was suffering from his shoulder, but that was no longer the case on Sunday. ''Yesterday I was not 100 percent, but today everything was just fine again,'' Perez concludes.
