Ocon: "It was an amazing experience to drive this car"

Renault's Formula 1 team will go through life as Alpine from 2021, a brand is best known for its successes in rallying in the 1960s and 1970s. To celebrate this, Esteban Ocon was allowed to participate in two stages of the Rallye of Monte Carlo.

"It was a great experience to drive the Alpine A110S during the Rallye Monte Carlo," Ocon said in conversation with Renault Sport.

"It has long been a dream of mine to drive rally, so to try it out during such a special event was great. The conditions were tough, but that only adds to the experience," he continued.

"The A110S is perfect for this kind of road. I'm looking forward to doing more events like this, but for now I'm concentrating on preparing for the new season in the new team colors," Ocon said.
