Yuki Tsunoda had a minor impact with the barriers in the opening minutes of FP1 at the Brazil GP.
The Japanese driver spun exiting Turn 4, hitting the barriers side-on and damaging the front wing on the right-hand endplate.
Not the ideal start to the weekend for Tsunoda, especially with only 60 minutes available to prepare for both the sprint and Sunday’s GP, but he was still able to bring the car back to the pits.
It remains to be seen whether Tsunoda will be able to get back on track and complete his planned program, or if his weekend will already be off to a difficult start. Later in the session, Red Bull confirmed there was damage to both the rear wing and front wing of his car.
