Norris worried his personality could come back to haunt him in the future

Lando Norris enjoyed a successful first season in Formula One, often being faster than his teammate Carlos Sainz. However, he feels that his playful personality could cause him problems in the future.
The Brit isn't afraid to be different, which has, in many regards earnt him more supporters after finishing eleventh in the drivers' standings.
I was perhaps too relaxed in a certain way and I had too much fun. I think at a certain point I took it for granted and I didn't work on certain things in a series," Norris told Autosport.
"I think I towards the outside world must now do more seriously than I do so that those things are not going to use as an excuse."
The 20-year-old was a key part in making sure that McLaren secured fourth-place in the constructors' championship, ahead of Renault.
