Over the course of last year's battle for the drivers' title, while Max Verstappen secured the championship against Lando Norris in Las Vegas, he all but confirmed that result at the rainy Sao Paulo GP. Could McLaren fix their wet weather issues since that moment for today in Australia?
After the F3 feature race was shortened and the F2 feature race was cancelled completely, the F1 Grand Prix will also get underway on a wet track. The last time the grid ran in similar conditions, Max Verstappen won from P17 at Interlagos.
"We’re expecting a wet race but one that could start to dry up, it could rain more and drizzle through the race, so it’s going to be a little bit probably like last year," Norris began on Sky Sports about the conditions.

McLaren able to fix problems from Interlagos?

Could the team fix their issues that was displayed the previous season in Brazil, where Norris also locked up? "I think maybe not everything’s been sorted as much as we would have liked. There’s still some things we’re cautious about. But I’m still confident, I still know what I have to do, the steps forward that I need to make. I’m excited to see what we can go and do," the Briton concluded.
