Lando Norris managed to bounce back after his crash at the Canadian Grand Prix, and after starting from pole position, he crossed the finish line in P1 at the Red Bull Ring.
"It was a tough race. Pushing the whole way through! Tricky, hot, tiring, but the perfect result for us as a team. A one-two is exactly what we want and we did it again, so I'm very happy," the Briton began after jumping out of his car in Spielberg.

Norris on hard-fought battle against Piastri

Two weeks after Norris crashed out at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve after making contact with his teammate, the two papaya cars once again battled hard in Austria.
This time however, even as there was a particularly close moment on Lap 20, there was no contact.
"We had a great battle, that's for sure! It was a lot of fun. For me, a lot of stress but a lot of fun. A nice battle, so well done to Oscar," Norris shared.
"Hopefully it was a nice one for everyone to watch, but inside the car it was tough, especially when he was in DRS. The DRS is so big around here, so it was hard to get him out of the gap. Once I did, I could manage things pretty well but he was still quick," the Briton concluded.
Thanks to Norris' third victory of the season, the gap between the two drivers stands at 15 points.
