Lando Norris topped the lap count table during day two of Bahrain winter testing, while Mercedes and Red Bull were hit with issues. The 2025 World Champion knocked down 64 laps for
McLaren during the four-hour morning session at the Bahrain International circuit, adding to the 58 laps done by the British team on day one.

Mercedes and Red Bull hampered by problems
Red Bull were expecting to see Isack Hadjar take to the track for the first time in Bahrain after Max Verstappen did all of Monday's running. However,
an issue kept them off track all morning and saw them complete just a single lap.
136 laps were done by the Austrian team on Monday, more than any other team, but problems on Tuesday have hindered their progress.
However, Red Bull wasn't the only team to get minimal mileage done on Tuesday morning,
as an engine issue saw Mercedes complete just three laps before Kimi Antonelli was forced to bring the car back to the garage.
Behind the top three in the lap count table was Pierre Gasly in the Alpine after completing 61 laps, just ahead of Oliver Bearman in the Haas, adding 55 laps to Haas'
impressive 115 done on Monday.
Fernando Alonso and Aston Martin also completed 55 laps during the morning session, while Sergio Perez added 50 laps to Cadillac's total, continuing their fine start to life in
F1 with a P7 finish.
Audi, the other debutant to F1, just finished three laps shy of Cadillac with 47, but Nico Hulkenberg did enough to get the German team up into P6. Liam Lawson also took to the track for Racing Bulls, completing 42 laps.

The second of three days of testing will resume with the afternoon session, with four more hours of running to come after this morning's session. Night-time conditions will take centre stage, offering weather conditions that are more representative and closer to what teams will face later in the season on race weekend.
