Mercedes hint at driver lineup announcement soon

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has hinted at an unchanged driver lineup for the Silver Arrows being announced soon. Mercedes currently have four-time world champion Lewis Hamilton and Finnish driver Valtteri Bottas at the wheel of their cars.

The possibility of an announcement that would confirm both drivers would remain at the team was hinted at by Wolff, saying that it was just a matter of time before anything was officially confirmed.

"We do not want to delay anymore. We will announce it very soon," he told Finland's Iltalehti.

It wasn't just Wolff who was hinting at a possible deal being done. Hamilton himself believes that an announcement concerning his future isn't far away.

"It's going to be done and I think soon." he said.
