Andrea Stella and Zak Brown both commented on the clash between Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris at the start of the Singapore Grand Prix.
“It was clearly an exciting Turn 3 incident. Racing, tough racing”

On the first lap of the race, Norris made a bold move on Piastri going into Turn 1. As the pair navigated the narrow and twisty section of Turns 1, 2 and 3, the British driver made contact with Max Verstappen's rear right tyre, which caused an oversteer moment and veered his car into Piastri's which resulted in the collision.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the race, the McLaren CEO said: “Like all race weekends you review everything. It looks like Max and Lando either touched or had to check up, so it was clearly an exciting Turn 3 incident. Racing, tough racing.
“When you have three or four cars all stacked up, that’s going to happen. So we will look at it in more depth on Monday but clearly just hard racing.”

Team principal Andrea Stella, meanwhile, added: “The two drivers were already in condition to race and pursue their aspirations. We will stay in continuity with this approach. Every race, we learn a little bit, finetune but it’s a matter of details.
"There will be continuity with what’s the pursuit of the Drivers’ Championship. It doesn’t change the approach having won the Constructors’ Championship.”

Norris made a lightning start and didn’t shy away from taking on his teammate, diving down the inside in a daring early move that left Piastri fuming on the radio.
A brief brush between the two caused minor damage to Norris’s front wing, though it didn’t compromise his pace. Piastri, however, was unable to recover and crossed the line in fourth.
