The Singapore Grand Prix weekend was dominated by yet another controversy. Max Verstappen was given a community service penalty by the FIA for saying the word 'f*****' during a press conference shortly after Mohammed Ben Sulayem announced his intention to curb swearing in Formula 1. Outside the sport, however, Verstappen can say whatever he wants, so he did so during one of his gaming livestreams.

Verstappen: 'It's still f*****'

Once home after his second-place finish at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, Verstappen returned to his racing simulator to play with his group, Team Redline. The Dutchman also played the famous video game Minecraft, but his tools were not working properly. "My pick is fu**ed!" said Verstappen, who repeated the same word when reminded that children might be watching in protest.
A week later, the Red Bull Racing driver could be seen again during a livestream, in which Penelope, his girlfriend Kelly Piquet's daughter, also made an appearance. Asked during the stream how his pickaxe was doing, Verstappen reiterated, "It's still fu**ed!"
