Helmut Marko confirms his Red Bull team aren't getting distracted by the Ferrari engine debate. Marko trusts the FIA who suggest the Italian team aren't doing anything wrong. He goes on to insists Mercedes should do the same.
The consultant encourages Mercedes to suck it up and focus on beating them again, rather than complaining to the FIA.
"Mercedes had the best engine for four years, now Ferrari have the upper hand. They just have to accept that and not point it at the other side. At Red Bull, we don't go along with rumours like that," Helmut Marko told Auto Bild.
Marko also gives praise to Sebastian Vettel. The four-time Red Bull champion still gets serious respect from his old team.
"We know what Sebastian Vettel can do, including engine development. He made Ferrari catch up with Mercedes. Now Mercedes need constant luck to win because when all goes well, Ferrari lead the way."
