Marko: "Mega battle between Hamilton and Verstappen only with the same package"

Helmut Marko believes Max Verstappen is "far from his limit". The flying Dutchman has upped his game over recent weeks as the Red Bull and Honda package starts to produce rewards.

“We have not yet seen his limit and it will remain that way. In Hockenheim, he was an out-of-class in the rain, sometimes five seconds faster than others. How he organises his restarts is also extremely exceptional. But as I said: he is still far from his limit," Marko reported to Auto Bild.

Has the duel between the seven-time race winner and Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes really started? Marko calls the issue primarily situational: “At the moment it is not yet a duel with the same weapons. Mercedes has an even stronger package. We will only see a big duel if both drivers will have more or less the same material, " the Austrian concluded.
