Red Bull Racing chief advisor Dr. Helmut Marko has made two very contrasting statements regarding Racing Bulls drivers Isack Hadjar and Liam Lawson following the Brazil Grand Prix.
"If the Parisian's car works, he is a sure value for the top ten every time – which is very promising for his future."

The Faenza-based outfit capped off a successful Brazilian Grand Prix weekend with a double points finish in Sao Paulo with Lawson leading Hadjar in P7 and P8 respectively.
Despite the New Zealand born driver beating the French Algerian, Marko believes Lawson's efforts are still 'not enough', singling Hadjar as the 'discovery' of the 2025 season.

"Lawson has caught himself [up] with the Racing Bulls [car], but his performances are still not consistent enough," he wrote in his column for Speedweek.

Dr. Marko continued: "Hadjar is not only the discovery of the season for me, but would be in a better position in the World Championship standings than P10, but had engine problems four times.
"If the Parisian's car works, he is a sure value for the top ten every time – which is very promising for his future," he concluded.
Red Bull previously confirmed that they would take more time to announce their 2026 driver line up for Red Bull Racing and Racing Bulls. Currently Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson are 'at risk' of being left out with Max Verstappen and Hadjar being the only drivers confirmed to continue onward and into 2026.
