Marko blazingly enthusiastic about Red Bull updates: 'Level with Ferrari'

Helmut Marko is enthusiastic about the updates that Red Bull Racing brought to the last test day in Bahrain. He even dares to say that the team is now "on par with Ferrari.

Ferrari is designated as the big favorite based on the winter tests, but the team already warned that competitors at Mercedes and Red Bull Racing would still come up with updates.

This already happened in part during the winter test in Bahrain. Mercedes arrived 'without side pods' and Red Bull introduced an aero update on Saturday, which seems to be working well so far.

Marko makes no secret of his enthusiasm for his team's new package. "Perez went out early this morning and immediately set the fastest time," he tells Auto, Motor und Sport. How does his team stand now? "We've at least drawn level with Ferrari," says the Red Bull chief.
