Mick Schumacher is having an unfortunate season so far. In Bahrain, he finished eleventh, just missing out on the points. In Saudi Arabia, the German had a hard crash in qualifying after which he could not start in the race. Teammate Kevin Magnussen thinks it will all work out.

Schumacher makes it to Q3 in Australia

Last season Schumacher was able to boss his teammate Nikita Mazepin around quite easily, but with Magnussen the young German is having a more difficult time this season. The Dane has already scored twelve points and is invariably faster than the son of seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher.
On a Haas fan account on Instagram, a photo was posted of Schumacher asking if the German could reach Q3 during qualifying in Australia for the first time in his career. So far, he hasn't got further than 12th place. That was during the first Grand Prix of this season in Bahrain. Magnussen shows himself to be a sporting teammate and responds under the photo, "Yes, he will." We'll see next week.
