Formula 1 will race in Las Vegas in 2023. There will be night racing through the streets of the famous city, but what will the track look like?
The United States was an important target for Liberty Media when they took over Formula 1. There was a lot of room to grow here, according to the American company, and over the years the new owners have managed to gain popularity. The Netflix series Drive to Survive and other races in America have brought F1 closer to the people.

As a result, two American Grand Prix will be held in 2022. The first has been on the calendar since 2012 and is held in Austin, Texas. However, 2022 will also see the debut of a race in Miami. A street race will be held around the Hard Rock Stadium in the American city. In 2023, Las Vegas will also be added.
In Vegas, racing will take place on a long 6.12km track. There are three enormously long straights, with two straights allowing the use of DRS. The expected top speed will be 342km/h. Besides the three straights, the track has fourteen corners. See the layout of the circuit below and also some impressions of the organization.
