Lindblad proves his worth in the wake of Tsunoda's post season dismissal

Red Bull junior Arvid Lindblad has been linked to an F1 debut for a while now with the Red Bull Racing chief advisor Helmut Marko rather impressed by the British Swedish talent. And now he's completed a near-flawless test at Imola for Racing Bulls.
The day for the young talent started with a morning warm-up around the Enzo e Dino Ferrari track, as he climbed aboard the 2023 Alpha Tauri car, the AT04 which saw Nyck De Vries' debut and dismissal from F1, as well as Daniel Ricciardo's return to the Red Bull flock, and Liam Lawson's F1 debut as well.

Later on, Lindblad would start off with a comprehensive program that stretched out for three 11 laps long race pace dedicated stints, which the Italian branch of Motorsport.com reports were 'fairly consistent.'

Then, his programme unfolded into a qualifying simulation where for three stints of two laps each, the current F2 driver clocked in the fastest possible lap time using soft compound tyres. According to the website his best lap drew close to the low 1:18s.
Reportedly, the British Swedish Red Bull talent only dropped the ball once as he made his way around the Tamburello double chicane. However, his car emerged unscathed from the incident and he was able to meet the team's ultimate target: to put in as much mileage under his belt as possible, as he drove the AT04 for 530 Km as per the medium's observations.

With Tsunoda's exit, is Lindblad an alternative for Red Bull, thus leapfrogging Racing Bulls altogether?
With Yuki Tsunoda's dismissal at the end of the current season having been reported by GPblog earlier today, it is still uncertain who Red Bull Racing will field in the car next to Max Verstappen, provided the Dutch world champion remains in the Austrian team, which is not yet certain.
