Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc did not come out to complete laps at the circuit in Britain during the second free practice session at Silverstone. The Monegasque had electrical problems with the car. Leclerc believes the car will be ready again in time for the third free practice session though, he told Sky Sports.
"There was a small problem on the car, but it's like this, I think the team has identified what went wrong," Leclerc, who earlier finished fifth in the first free practice, told reporters. "We've changed basically everything that was on the car and it should be fine for tomorrow," the Monegasque driver continued.

Leclerc and Sainz heading for Britain GP

Leclerc is currently sixth in the world championship behind teammate Carlos Sainz, who is in fifth place. The Spanish driver has scored exactly 10 more points than Leclerc this season. "I think we'll come back with the car I had in FP1 as the feeling was pretty good, then learning when you don't drive is pretty difficult."
Sainz was satisfied after the two practice sessions on Friday. "We improved from the first to the second practice, with really tricky wind conditions. These were very changeable, but we have to keep working on our pace and on improving degradation, which we know are our biggest weaknesses this weekend," the Spaniard told us.
