Lando Norris has had an incredible debut season in Formula 1. He has proved that he has pace and is set to remain in the sport for the next few years. However, at a young age the McLaren driver wanted to be a Moto GP racer and race on bikes.
“I was on two wheels before I was on four,” Norris said to RaceFans.
“I was on a motorbike, motocross, 50cc or 60cc motocross. And I loved doing it. But as soon as I then tried karting I just had more love for that.
“When I spoke to Rossi, he was the opposite. He started in karting when he was seven. He loved doing it but then as soon as he tried motorbikes he just had more passion, more love for doing that.”
Norris found his passion in Karts and was exceptionally fast at a very young age. He is still a Moto GP fans and who knows if we will ever see him racing on a bike in the future!
