Most of the F1 circus packed up quickly after the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix weekend in Imola, but four teams have stayed behind for a Pirelli tyre test. That includes World Championship leaders Ferrari and Charles Leclerc.

Wednesday in Imola

On Wednesday, Ferrari have split the running between both Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. The man from Monaco racked up the mileage during the morning session, with the car being prepared for Sainz in the afternoon. Robert Kubica has also been racking up the mileage for Alfa Romeo with AlphaTauri also getting involved.
Pirelli are testing the 2023 dry compound tyres this week in Imola. The Italian tyre supplier report they are finding it hard to schedule these test days, with the F1 teams busy crisscrossing the globe 23 times across the season. However, an off-weekend gives them the opportunity to use this time to test and they have launched the first images of the Wednesday test. Alfa Romeo also report that Kubica has had a busy morning in Imola.
