Many of the drivers said that they totally agreed with Verstappen testing his GT3 car last week, Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko was informed beforehand by Verstappen and also gave the Dutchman the freedom for the test.
‘’I wasn't surprised, we talked about it. At Red Bull, we are much more ‘liberal’ than others. He enjoyed it immensely.’’
In the future, Verstappen might be seen more often in other racing classes. Helmut Marko mentions he is eager to think along with the Dutchman: ‘’We'll see what kind of race it is and in what kind of car it will be’’, Marko concludes with a smile.
Max Verstappen previously indicated that he would like to be active in endurance racing. He saw the test at the Nordschleife, where he also set a lap record, as gaining experience for the future.
