Mercedes still had the biggest problems with the tyres during the second Grand Prix at Silverstone, but had no problems with that at all during the Spanish Grand Prix. What was Lewis Hamilton doing differently from a week ago?

"There was not really a clear plan of attack in advance. I haven't changed much myself. I drove as I always drive when it comes to tyre management, but I may have been a little more efficient. As a team, we went into more detail on how to improve this and it was executed perfectly," Hamilton said at the press conference.

According to Hamilton, Mercedes have done a good job, although he does not see any huge changes. "Again, we haven't really changed a whole lot towards this weekend. We still have to understand what went wrong in Silverstone. Now we could just handle it better."

Yet the top drivers mainly drove on the medium tyre, which caused big blisters during the race last week. When Lewis is asked again if he hasn't made any adjustments to his riding style, he remains mysterious. "Maybe, but of course I'm not going to tell you that," said the Briton.
