Hamilton vs. Verstappen: "He's in his best shape physically and mentally"

The 2021 F1 season will give fans what they have been asking for for several years now; an exciting fight for the title. Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton are fighting a heated battle, swapping the lead in the championship. Hamilton can only enjoy it.

The seven-time world champion has not really been attacked in his title races for years. A fierce opponent has emerged in the person of Max Verstappen who has the material to make things difficult for the Brit in 2021.

Speaking to Marca.com the Mercedes driver says he enjoys the battle: "Of course it's hard to go up against every driver. They are all great athletes and they all want to win the title."

Hamilton elaborates on his current title fight: "Max is in a great team. He is in his best form, both physically and mentally. Yes, it's very tough to go up against everyone. But that's what makes this sport so exciting."
