An outspoken Lewis Hamilton fan Jeremy Clarkson is not by any means. The British TV personality has regularly criticised his comthe seven-time world champion in the past. After the Grand Prix weekend in China - in which Hamilton won the sprint race and played a less relevant role in the Grand Prix - Clarkson does so again in his column in The Sun.
Clarkson remarked that Hamilton was on pole for sprint race and a day later rushed to victory unchallenged. "What’s interesting, and troubling, is that a few hours later, having created headlines around the world, Lewis could only qualify for the main event in fifth."

Clarkson can't fathom it

Clarkson wondered then, how is it possible that Hamilton was fast at one point and so slow the next? " And in the race itself, he was so slow he let his team-mate overtake. And then he was disqualified. How is that possible?
"I can understand that a car might be quick at one track and the following weekend, at a different track, be useless. But to go from hero to zero at the same track? On the same day? It makes no sense."

Clarkson is no stranger to controversy, including issues with the LGBT community and the use of derogatory language. After yet another outcry, Clarkson was sacked by the BBC in 2015, having made the popular show, Top Gear, for the British broadcaster.
Besides a column in Britain's biggest tabloid, he is a farmer, something that was also featured extensively in the Amazon series Clarkson's Farm.
