Lewis Hamilton's dog, Roscoe (12-year-old), has fallen ill with pneumonia yet again. In response the British driver has chosen to skip Pirelli's tyre test at Mugello and the Milan Ferrari Fashion Show.
I was supposed to be in Milan for the Ferrari fashion show tomorrow and was really excited about it. But as you know, I need to be with Roscoe right now.

“I was supposed to be in Milan for the Ferrari fashion show tomorrow and was really excited about it.
"But as you know, I need to be with Roscoe right now. I’ll be watching the show on @ferraristyle and want to send my love and support to Rocco and the whole team,” Hamilton wrote on social media.

He added: “I’m sure it’s going to be amazing – enjoy the livestream on Saturday at 9:30AM Milan time and see you very soon!”
Hamilton had previously stated that Roscoe had been suffering from a bout of pneumonia. During the Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend he revealed Roscoe was now under care of a veterinarian 24/7, admitting that the uncertainty of each one of his dog's caretaker's messages would leave him troubled.
In the late European hours Hamilton took to social media to ask his fans to keep Roscoe in his prayers, with the seven-time world champion acknowledging he had undergone a "scary" few hours. But still no one outside of Hamilton's inner circle knew what was the matter with the 12-year-old bulldog.

This morning, the Ferrari driver once again posted on social media, this time to disclose what was going on with the popular dog. Another bout of pneumonia had struck him so hard he stopped breathing. The veterinarians' efforts to try and revive him worked, but unfortunately, Roscoe fell into a coma. Attempts to re-awaken him are to be made on Saturday morning.
