Lewis Hamilton qualified 12th for the Hungarian Grand Prix, and unfortunately for the Briton, it did not get better. After the race, he was seen downbeat and not happy with his race results.
Unlike last race weekend, where Hamilton was able to soar through the field and into the points, he did not do this weekend as he started and finished 12th.
He said, "It’s been a challenging weekend and one to move on from."

Hamilton plans to 'reset and recharge'

"We weren’t able to make the progress we hoped for, but I’m grateful for the effort everyone in the team put in throughout the weekend."

While his teammate Charles Leclerc started on pole position, he also did not perform well due to a chassis issue that caused him to drop race pace and end three positions down in fourth.
Hamilton continued, "Now we head into the break. I’ll be using the time to reset, recharge and come back stronger."

One thing that Hamilton has been increasingly vocal about is the fact that he will not go without a fight. He has made several comments about how previous world champions failed to secure wins with Ferrari and how he refuses for that to be him.
The 7x world champion has not acclimated as quickly as he would have liked. Hamilton has also pointed out that Leclerc is familiar with the car and engine, as that is all he has ever driven (Sauber is a Ferrari works customer). Hamilton, however, has always used Mercedes engines (McLaren is a Mercedes works customer).

He concluded, "I’m not where I want to be yet, but the fight’s not over - don’t count me out."
