Lewis Hamilton's long-awaited switch to Ferrari this year has been quite underwhelming so far, and he hasn't even been able to score a podium.
The seven-time world champion has languished in the shadows of his teammate Charles Leclerc as Hamilton adjusts to a new power unit and brakes at Ferrari.
Hamilton has particularly lacked raw speed over a single lap in qualifying, and the Ferrari driver only outqualified teammate Leclerc last time out at Silverstone for the first time.
Hamilton is pushing for some tweaks at the Scuderia, particularly a more responsive car at low-speed.
He told GPBlog and others at the British Grand Prix: "I’m really hoping for some improvements moving forward. We’ve got this two-week break now, you’re going to spend a lot of time in the factory soon."
Hamilton said he would like: “A consistent balance, a car that turns in at low speed. And just a more stable car.”

Hamilton did take victory in the Sprint in China, but that success turned out to be a flash in the pan.
The 40-year-old has been consistently in and around the top five this year but has lagged behind Leclerc for much of 2025.
Despite the tricky start, Hamilton took the positives from his home race but focused in on race execution as an area to improve.
“I think we were looking great through this weekend. Still weren’t able to fully extract everything in qualifying, and then the race was a little bit harder. So that’s where I want to get stronger.”
