After winning the Italian Grand Prix in an upset, Lewis Hamilton has revealed that the booing Italian fans who are Ferrari fans actually power the Brit to do better, as the gap between him and Vettel is now 30 points.
Hamilton started the race in third but quickly moved up to second, albeit a bit controversially. Hamilton had contact with Sebastian Vettel, the man whom he took P2 from, and the German spun out. It didn't seem to be Hamilton's fault at all as Vettel simply had understeer, but the Italian fans won't care.
"Today was so difficult," Hamilton said after climbing out of his car.
"Whilst the negativity is never great, that's what powered me along.
"I actually accept it."

Mercedes will be delighted to have outmanned Ferrari on the podium in the Italians' home race, as Ferrari hasn't won at Monza in eight years now. Can they recover in the championship?
