Lewis Hamilton grabbed pole position in Hungary last season. Right now, the seven-time world champion may be able to pick up momentum as he won at home at Silverstone last weekend. It was a record-breaking ninth win at the Northamptonshire circuit. The seven-time world champion says he is now looking forward to racing in Budapest again.
Last season, Hamilton grabbed pole position in Hungary out of nowhere. In the race, he could not keep Max Verstappen behind him. In the end, the seven-time world champion finished just off the podium, as Lando Norris and Sergio Perez also passed the Briton.
Now, Hamilton may have a better chance of winning. Mercedes has clearly made strides and the Briton himself seems to have stepped up a gear. Last weekend's victory demonstrates this.

Hamilton on the Hungarian Grand Prix

When asked about the Hungarian Grand Prix after winning at Silverstone, Hamilton said: "You know I love Hungary. So, I definitely am really looking forward to that, to going there, but just also just the trajectory we're on and the fact the car is starting to really, really come alive and feel great. And I think the fact that we're able to start to compete with these two here (Verstappen and Norris) is a great, great feeling." Concluded the 104-time Grand Prix winner.
