Lewis Hamilton is beyond confused with regards to the FIA's flexiwing clampdown since 'it's done nothing but waste the team's money.'
So, amidst the speculation surrounding the Technical Directive introduced for the Spanish Grand Prix and onwards to costraint front wing deflection, for Hamilton the true impact of the measure is meaningless.
"The balance is definitely not as nice as what we had before," said the Briton to media like GPblog after qualifying in Spain.
"What a waste of money. It's just wasted everyone's money. It's literally changed nothing. Everyone's wings still bend, which is half the bending," Hamilton said criticising the legislature.
In then end, Hamilton can only see the money that's been spent by the teams to develop and manufacture the new wings. "And everyone's had to make new wings and spend more money to make these. It doesn't make sense, but it is what it is and we just continue on," concluded the seven-time world champion.

Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris have dominated the entire weekend of racing in Spain, with the Aussie taking pople ahead of the Briton locking out the front row. The only fight that it seems will take place this weekend is for who finishes best of the rest behind the ever-dominant McLarens.
