Isack Hadjar has said he would "like to know" about his 2026 seat in Formula 1 "at the end of the year" as speculation surrounding Red Bull's lineup for next season continues. "I'm in a better position. I know I'm in Formula 1 next year."
- Isack HadjarThe 20-year-old made his debut in
F1 with
Racing Bulls for the 2025 season, and he has impressed greatly, currently sitting in P10 in the drivers' standings with 39 points.
A move to Red Bull next season has been talked about several times,
with the Frenchman himself saying he has no reservations about teaming up with Max Verstappen in 2026. However, he would now be keen on waiting until the end of the year to find out where he will be racing.
"Actually, I'd like to know at the end of the year, because it's more annoying than anything, the noise. So, five races to keep pushing," Hadjar stated at the
Mexico City Grand Prix.

Seat security for Hadjar in 2026
Despite the continued discussion on where Hadjar will be racing in 2026, what is official is that the 20-year-old has a guaranteed seat for next season, something that has taken plenty of pressure off.
"12 months ago, it was a bit unsure, that's true. I had an idea, but it's true that this year, I'm in a better position. I know I'm in Formula 1 next year.
"Last year, I didn't know what I was doing. So yeah, I'm a lot less panicked."
Red Bull will make a decision on their line-ups after the weekend in Mexico City.
There were also questions posed to Hadjar about him taking the reins at Red Bull for the final few races of the season, but that is an idea he has dismissed.
"It's so unlikely, man. That would mean I would have just two more races with the team, and that's just not going to happen. I'm also very I'm so happy with the team I am with right now. For them, I also need to bring P6 home," concluded the Frenchman.
