The Italian Grand Prix will definitely take place with spectators this season. The authorities have given permission for a capacity of 50 percent, reports De Telegraaf.
Because of the coronavirus pandemic, many races were without spectators at the beginning of the season, but recently countries are allowing more and more fans in the grandstands. For a while it was not sure whether Italy would allow spectators on the circuit, but the government sees enough reason to do so.
Not everyone is eligible to attend the race at Monza. Spectators who wish to attend will need to show proof of vaccination or demonstrate that they have tested negative or that they have already contracted the virus once.

Second sprint race

After a successful first sprint race at Silverstone, the second edition will take place in Italy. The organisation received many positive reactions to the concept after the British GP.
