The Formula 1 grid is next scheduled to visit the Red Bull Ring for the 2025 Austrian Grand Prix. What type of weather the team will have to deal with? Find out below! Unlike the previous two years, there will be no Sprint events in Austria. Therefore, on Friday, we will have two free practice sessions: FP1 and FP2.
Unlike in 2023 when
Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez clashed in the Sprint on the intermediates, not much rain is expected this time around at the Red Bull Racing.
According to the FOM's weather portal, the weather will be a mix of sunny and cloudy on Day 1 in Austria, and in the morning, there could be few drops of rain.
The will be cloudier towards the afternoon, but in both sessions, there will be 28 degrees Celsius. This will be the windiest day, with 10-20 kph expected in that regard on Friday.
Dry Saturday and Sunday ahead
The Saturday will be the driest day at the Red Bull Ring. In the morning, there could be a slight chance of rain, but by the time the Formula 1 cars hit the track, it is expected to be sunnier.
Once again wind gusts could be up to 30 kph, but winds will be between 5-15 kph. During FP3, 28 degrees Celsius is expected, and for qualifying, it will be a single degrees hotter.
On Sunday, it will be first sunny, with then clouds developing over the track throughout the Grand Prix. No rain is expected, with less 20% chance of that happening during the final day of the weekend.
Once again, 5-15 kph winds are expected, while it is predicted to be the hottest day of the weekend, with 31 degrees Celsius at the start of the Grand Prix at 3 pm local time.
